KUALA LUMPUR, 29 July 2016 – UEM Sunrise Berhad (“UEM Sunrise” or the “Company”) showcased its appreciation to 2,000 of its customers and key stakeholders by hosting them to a matinee show of London’s West End and Broadway international production of, “LET IT BE – A CELEBRATION OF THE MUSIC OF THE BEATLES, PART II.”

UEM Sunrise, one of Malaysia’s leading property developers, hosted the event on 17 July 2016 where audience were treated to nostalgic returns to the 60s and 70s as they sang along to the tunes of Back in the USSR, Got to Get You into My Life, Hey Jude and many more at the Plenary Hall of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The theatrical concert, which UEM Sunrise is one of the official partners, relived The Beatles’ meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the heights of Beatlemania to their breakup in 1970.

On-hand to welcome its guests were UEM Sunrise Chief Operating Officer-Commercial, Raymond Cheah along with several Members of the Board and the Company’s Management Team.

“As we continue to build new partnerships, we also strive to strengthen those we have forged. We want to express our appreciation for the loyalty of our customers and key stakeholders that have shown us through the years, and of course we want everyone to have a good time too,” said Raymond.

Guests of UEM Sunrise, which includes corporate partners, members of the media, loyal purchasers referred to as Trésorians and Joint Management Bodies of properties managed by UEM Sunrise were also provided with updates on the Company’s recent milestones and received first-hand leads of upcoming property launches. The event also saw UEM Sunrise bid a special welcome to fraternity members of the Blue Jackets Society and winners of its Facebook contest.

Madam Lee Li Li, a Trésorian said, “It was a fun day for me. I enjoyed the show and I loved how the band performed The Beatles’ songs. I have always been a fan of UEM Sunrise’s properties having bought three to-date, and I appreciate their efforts in making us, the customers, feel special.”

This was echoed by another Trésorian, Mr. Wong Yee Kiat who said that events like these make the customers feel very important and appreciated.

“I have not made it to all of UEM Sunrise’s events but I hope to be able to do so more frequently in the future. Events like these are very good for the customers. I have been a supporter of UEM Sunrise for 30 years now and when I get invited to attend these events, I feel happy and well taken care of. The developer’s customer service goes beyond just selling us houses and I like that very much”, he said.
