KUALA LUMPUR – UEM Sunrise Berhad (“UEM Sunrise” or the “Company”) one of Malaysia’s largest property developers commenced its worldwide preview for the Company’s latest Australian development, Conservatory in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
As part of Conservatory’s worldwide marketing initiative, UEM Sunrise is showcasing the AUD$300 million project in several countries starting with key cities in China followed by Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Brunei and UK before concluding in Melbourne, the project’s home city in October 2015.
Conservatory is located on Mackenzie Street with breathtaking panoramic views over the historic UNESCO World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens. Set to complete in 2018, the development will offer 446 apartments set in a luxurious 42-storey architectural masterpiece, with more than 300 square metres of signature retail spaces.
UEM Sunrise Chief Operating Officer, Commercial, Raymond Cheah said the preview in Kuala Lumpur was a success and the Company expects its last leg in Melbourne, Australia to be as successful as it is in other cities.
“We have achieved strong sales in all the markets for our second property development in the World’s Most Liveable City. We are pleased with the strong reception so far for Conservatory, which is truly a bespoke architectural marvel in an enviable CBD location. Melbourne continues to be highly attractive for property investors and owner occupiers and we expect a similarly strong reception for our previews in Kuala Lumpur, Brunei and Melbourne.” he said.
Designed by highly-acclaimed and award-winning architect Professor Philip Sutton Cox, Principal and Founder of Cox Architecture, Conservatory will become a distinctive part of the Melbourne city skyline with its shimmering façade and glittering crown atop the building. Drawing inspiration from its surroundings and the Victorian glass wardian case, Conservatory brings lush garden landscapes inside with a unique art nouveau concept design that delivers contemporary garden living in the sky.
Luxury and livability lies at the heart of the development with first-class amenities and communal areas, including the Victorian Terrace, The Royal Banquet and the Carlton Skydeck. The amenities include a swimming pool, gymnasium, private cinema, golf simulator, multiple entertainment and private dining areas, open-air lounge areas and sky spa pools of up to 4.5 metres.
“UEM Sunrise is committed to developing communities of the future and we are eager to demonstrate our expertise in high-rise developments and extend the unique lifestyle offerings of our properties to investors, based on our strong track records in residential and mixed use developments.”
“The development offers a unique feature where city vibrancy meets with garden tranquility. Its prime location makes Conservatory very attractive to buyers, alongside amenities and its expansive views across the Carlton Gardens Melbourne and CBD skyline.”
Conservatory includes one, two and three bedroom apartments as part of The Victorian and Royal Collections, and a further twenty-two penthouses, The Carlton Collection, each with individualised floor plans.
Construction of Conservatory is expected to commence in the first half of 2016, with an official launch planned for late October 2015 on the completion of the onsite display suite in Melbourne. One-bedroom apartments start from AUD$447,000 (RM1.34 million).
