“As a responsible corporate citizen, we are always mindful of the role we play to the communities we touch in the areas we operate and Tapah is no different. Our presence here today is a gesture of our commitment to the Tapah community and our sincere intention of improving the lives of those in the vicinity through various community building programmes such as this,” he added.
The company has been actively involved in CSR initiatives since 2006. As the master developer of Nusajaya, one of the five key nodes of Iskandar Malaysia, UEM Land has adopted 17 PINTAR schools in the Gelang Patah locality and supports the schools by organising a series of educational and community development programmes for an improved learning experience.
