UEM Sunrise announces the resignation of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of UEM Sunrise Berhad (“UEM Sunrise” or the “Company”) announces that Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer has given notice of his resignation on 9 October 2020.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, UEM Sunrise indicated that the Board will deliberate on the effective date of Anwar’s resignation. In the meantime, a transition plan will be executed for smooth handover of his responsibilities to ensure continued management of UEM Sunrise's business and operations.

The Company will make the necessary announcement on the date of resignation in due course.
