UEM Sunrise was a proud silver sponsor for the second Iskandar Puteri Night Marathon 2018 (“IPNM 2018") held on 14 April 2018 at Dataran Mahkota, Kota Iskandar in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

IPNM 2018 was organised by Intan Jauhar Sdn. Bhd. and supported by the Johor State Government. The event’s objective aligned with UEM Sunrise’s long term effort together with the other strategic players which is to incorporate sports and healthy living into the blueprint of Iskandar Puteri. The event was also an opportunity to showcase Iskandar Puteri to the world particularly its unique features such as various prestigious developments, sustainable living and attractive investment opportunities.

IPNM 2018 received overwhelming response from over 6,300 runners, exceeding its initial target of 5,000 participants. With close to 250 of the participants representing the international community, the marathon successfully showcased the vibrancy of the communities in Iskandar Puteri and the State of Johor. We are proud to have been a part of this success!

En. Mohd Ezzuddin bin Sanusi represented the caretaker Chief Minister of Johor’s Office to flag off the runners. En. Nor Hisham Hussein, General Manager, Human Resource (Southern) of UEM Sunrise and representatives from various government agencies including the Johor State Department of Tourism, Johor Heritage Foundation and Johor Bahru Central Municipal Council were also present at the event.
