UEM Sunrise has unveiled a refreshed corporate brand as it sharpens its strategic focus and signals the next phase of growth for the Malaysian property developer.
Anchored by the new brand proposition, "A future worth building", the refresh reflects the company's renewed purpose and long-term strategy, positioning UEM Sunrise around three core growth pillars: property development, property investment, and ventures and investments.
According to the company, the repositioning is intended to create a more balanced and resilient business model by combining property development with recurring income streams and strategic partnerships, supported by disciplined capital allocation and portfolio optimisation.
Central to the refreshed identity is the "Seed", a new brand symbol representing the belief that meaningful developments begin with deliberate intent. According to UEM Sunrise, the symbol reflects its approach to deciding what to build, where to build, when to build and, equally importantly, what should be preserved.
The philosophy is reflected across the company's portfolio, including SIREH Park, one of Malaysia's largest urban parks, which UEM Sunrise said demonstrates its commitment to preserving natural assets where they create greater long-term value for surrounding communities.
Shaharul Farez Hassan, managing director and CEO of UEM Sunrise, said the refreshed identity goes beyond a visual update and represents the company's commitment to purposeful growth and long-term value creation.
"'A future worth building' is our philosophy for how we create value and the standard we hold ourselves accountable to," he said.
"Every decision we make today should strengthen the communities we serve, create enduring value for our shareholders and contribute meaningfully to Malaysia's future," added Shaharul.
The rebrand comes as UEM Sunrise continues to build on nearly six decades of property development in Malaysia. Over the years, the developer has played a key role in transforming Mont'Kiara into one of Kuala Lumpur's premium residential enclaves and master planning Iskandar Puteri as a major economic hub in Johor.
Looking ahead, the company said it will continue to focus on disciplined execution, operational excellence and responsible growth as it works towards creating connected communities and delivering sustainable long-term value.
The move builds on a broader transformation at UEM Sunrise. In late 2025, the property developer appointed Shaharul Farez Hassan as managing director and CEO, alongside Grace Yap Mei Wan as an independent non-executive director, saying the strengthened leadership team would support its next phase of growth through sharper strategic focus, sustainable performance and long-term value creation.
